Short answer: there is no 2025 Jeep Renegade in the United States. The EPA rated the model through 2023 and nothing afterwards, so a listing marked 2024, 2025 or 2026 is a used car under the wrong year. Jeep has since confirmed a next-generation Renegade for Europe by 2030, but it has named no American plan, no price, no powertrain and no on-sale date.
Is there a 2025 Jeep Renegade?
Not one you could order new. Every vehicle sold new in the US has to be rated by the EPA before it reaches a dealer, and the agency’s list carries Renegade entries through the 2023 model year and none from 2024 onward. The range had already been shrinking: 2022 still offered front-wheel drive, while 2023 came only as a four-wheel-drive car in two forms.
The 2026 side of the list says the same thing from the other direction. Jeep’s rated vehicles for 2026 are the Cherokee, Compass, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee and its L and 4xe versions, the Grand Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer L, the Recon, the Wagoneer S and the Wrangler. The smallest of them is the Compass, one size class above where the Renegade sat.
What the last US Renegade was
A small four-wheel-drive crossover with one engine: a 1.3-liter turbocharged four, paired with a nine-speed automatic and running on regular fuel. There was no diesel and no manual for American buyers, and the choice came down to how much off-road hardware you wanted.

Two mpg separates the Trailhawk from the standard car, which is the usual price of taller tyres and extra underbody gear rather than a different engine. Both figures still read well against anything larger — a point worth keeping in mind, because every Jeep that replaced it in the lineup is a bigger vehicle.
Is the Renegade coming back?
To Europe, yes. At the Paris show on 12 October 2026, Jeep’s Europe chief Xavier Peugeot confirmed a next-generation Renegade for that market by 2030. What Jeep did not announce matters just as much: no price, no powertrain and no on-sale date, and no mention of the United States or North America anywhere in the release.
So if you meet a page promising a 2025 or 2026 Renegade with a trim walk and a starting price, weigh it against that. The only firm facts available are a market, a brand commitment and a year that is still several years out. Everything finer than that is someone filling in blanks Jeep left empty.
What to buy instead
Inside Jeep, nothing is a direct swap; the Compass is the nearest in spirit and noticeably larger. Outside it, the small crossover field is crowded, and the Ford Bronco Sport is the one that lands closest to the Renegade Trailhawk’s pitch of a small body with real off-road intent.
